My Mother's been having a few of these recently.

Moment #1: My sister was talking about "buffalo wings"
"Do buffaloes have wings?"

Moment #2: I was showing her the Christmas present I had bought for my sister, who has recently gone into business as a masseuse -- a reproduction of the first edition of "Gray's Anatomy"
"Is that to tie in with the TV show?"
